Who I am

I'm Sheheryar Pirzada, Peer Sahab in the developer community. I build web and mobile products that solve real problems: React and Next.js on the frontend, React Native for mobile, Node on the backend.

I finished a Master's in Computer Science at Washington State University in 2025, and I'm now an Associate Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, building software for power system protection and control.

Before that: five years at Wanclouds Inc. across web and mobile, including a multi-cloud SaaS platform and a services marketplace running in several Pakistani cities, plus a handful of iOS apps I built because I wanted them to exist.

What I do

Web development

React and Next.js applications, built for performance and accessibility as much as for how they look.

Mobile development

Cross-platform apps in React Native that feel native, not like a web page wrapped in a shell.

Backend development

Node and Express APIs, backed by SQL or Mongo, sized for what the product actually needs.

UI/UX design

Interfaces built in Tailwind, with attention to the small details that make something feel considered.

Experience highlights

  • Associate Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, building software for power system protection and control.
  • Graduate Staff Assistant at Washington State University, where I worked on internal web tooling and process automation for the Graduate School while completing my Master's.
  • Full stack development: built and shipped production applications including a multi-cloud SaaS platform and a services marketplace running in several Pakistani cities.
  • Flavor Blend, an AI-powered recipe app, won recognition in an innovation competition.
